Notice Of Applications For Planning Permission

Notice is hereby given that the Council has received the following applications which need to be advertised for the reasons set out below:

L0002.23, Thatched Cottage, Noak Hill Road, Romford. Rear extension to Grade II listed cottage in a Green Belt and demolition of the garage and the replacement of the pool house with a smaller structure. The application is contrary to the Metropolitan Green Belt Policies of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Development Plan Documents.

The development relates to a Listed Building

L0003.23, The Railstore, North Block, Kidman Close, Gidea Park,

Romford. Listed building consent for installation of fibre optic broadband

infrastructure within inner court yard area of existing building.

The development relates to a Listed Building

L0012.22, Upminster Court, 133 Hall lane, Upminster. Listed building consent for the erection of a single storey extension to side, enclosure of courtyard, internal alterations and replacement windows to Coach House to facilitate change of use from mixed use building (Sui Generis) to training centre with overnight accommodation (Sui Generis). The application is contrary to the Metropolitan Green Belt Policies of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Development Plan Documents.

P0037.23, CEME Campus, Marsh Way, Rainham. Installation of 1982 roof mounted solar PV panels across three buildings.

This is a major development because it involves the provision of a building or buildings where the floor space to be created by the development is 1000 square metres or more.

P0128.23, 14 Crossways, Romford. Single storey rear extension. The development is in a Conservation Area

P0135.23, 3, 5a, and 9a Balgores Lane, Romford. 3 no. gas risers on the NNW, SSE and WSW elevations and 1 no. external meter box at the rear of 3 Balgores Lane with the outlet connected to the existing boiler. The development is in a Conservation Area

P0146.23, Montrose, Warley Road, Upminster. Partial demolition of an existing equestrian stable yard and the erection of a two storey, three bedroom detached dwelling with associated parking and amenity space. The application is contrary to the Metropolitan Green Belt Policies of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Development Plan Documents.

P0194.23, Former Rainham Library offices, at 21 Broadway, and land rear of 29 Broadway, Rainham. Variation of Condition No. 2 of Planning Permission Ref P1701.17 dated 21/08/2019 to allow for amendment to the red line denoting the site boundary (The demolition of existing buildings and the construction of 57 homes comprising a mix of 22 houses and 35 apartments with associated access roads, parking, hard surfacing, landscaping, boundary treatments, refuse stores, an electrical substation and means of access to and from Broadway.). The development is in a Conservation Area The development relates to a Listed Building This is a major development because the number of dwellings to be provided are 10 or more

P0232.23, Brett Aggregates Ltd, Warwick Lane, Rainham. Variation of Condition No. 2 of Planning Permission ref P0271.14 dated 20/02/2015 to allow for the Warwick Lane entrance to Rainham Quarry to be temporarily reopened for a period of 2 years. (The phased extraction of sand and gravel from land at East Hall Farm, Wennington and progressive restoration of the land generally to existing levels of in filling the void with inert waste and associated single storey office and weighbridge. Processing of the extracted material at Rainham Quarry and retention of the processing plant, bagging plant, recycling plant, weighbridge, office and ancillary buildings and structures for the duration of the processing operations.). The application is contrary to the Metropolitan Green Belt Policies of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Development Plan Documents.
