TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (South West) (No.3) Order 2023" authorising the stopping up of various areas of highway along Dover Road, Southampton Road, Hereford Drive, Rochester Road, Oxford Place and Durham Place at Taunton, in Somerset West and Taunton. This is to enable development as permitted by Somerset West and Taunton Council, under reference 38/21/0345.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/S247/5235). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Priorswood Post Office, 15 Priorswood Place, Taunton TA2 7JW.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 2 February 2023.
