Application for Listed Building Consent to deconstruct and rebuild the bell tower and undertake external maintenance on a like for like basis at Schools Yard. The works include knapped flintwork, stonework, repointing and redecorations.

AWDM/1628/22 Flat 5 16 Heene Terrace Worthing
Listed Building Consent provide additional strengthening works and repair to the existing high level wall below the dormers.

Application for retrospective permission for garden shed to the rear (South-West) boundary.

AWDM/1983/22 The Grand Victorian Hotel 27 Railway Approach Worthing
Removal of UPVC conservatory additions with existing base retained and adapted to form external seating area enclosed by wrought iron railings, single-storey rear extension, new exterior doors onto raised platform with steps and ramp access to rear garden. Removal of existing glass/wrought iron canopies to North and Northwest entrances. Restoration of cut-glass windows. Internal Works involving removal of internal walls to kitchen and central lobby plus removal of raised floor areas, fixed seating, existing bar and toilet cubicles with revised internal layout to facilitate operational improvements to connect to both sides of pub, enhancement of toilets, kitchen and bar areas, restoration of level access to all areas and provision of new accessible toilet. Minor works to bedrooms above pub.

Applications can be viewed on the Council’s web site at www.adur-worthing.gov.uk or electronically at Reception, Portland House, Richmond Road, Worthing between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Representations should be submitted by email using the online form on our website (including your postal address on the email) or by writing to me at the address below, so that they are received by me not later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice in the case of applications involving listed buildings or within conservation areas, or 14 days for all other applications.
