What is planned?

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013

Tillicoultry Quarries invites the public to take part in the consultation for the proposed extension to Ryeflatt sand and gravel quarry on land adjacent to the existing Ryeflatt Quarry, Carnwath, Lanark ML11 8SA. We will be holding a public event from 4PM-6PM on Thursday 19th January 2023 at Carnwath Town Hall, 70 Main Street, Carnwath ML11 8JY.

We would like to invite you to attend our pre-application consultation event so you can learn more about the project and we can hear your views on the proposal. For further information, or if you are unable to attend the consultation event

All comments should be received no later than Friday 3rd February 2023. For information, we will be holding a second in-person event in February 2023. Details will be advertised nearer the time. Please note that any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to South Lanarkshire Council and when the prospective applicant submits a planning application there will be an opportunity to make direct representations to South Lanarkshire Council’s Planning Department.
