What is happening?
(U2S GARROCH) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) No. 2 ORDER 2026
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U2s from its junction with the U3s at Glenlee to its junction with A762, from 0800 on 05/11/26 to 1700 on 30/11/26.
The closure is necessary to facilitate upgrading of SPEN power infrastructure. Alternative route available via U3s, A712, A762 and vice versa. Emergency access will not be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(U29S LOCHHILL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) No. 2 ORDER 2026
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U29s between Barcaple High Lodge and Valley View, Ringford from 0800 to 1800 on 10/11/26.
The closure is necessary to facilitate BT pole replacement works. Alternative route available via U19s, U163s, TR A75, U28s, U29s and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(U119S LITTLE MILTON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U119s towards Little Milton, Crocketford from 0800 to 1700 on 09/11/26.
The closure is necessary to facilitate BT pole replacement. No alternative route available. Resident access will be maintained. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(U411S ACADEMY STREET) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U411s Academy Street, Castle Dougals between its junctions with King Street and Queen Street from 0930 to 1530 on 05/11/2026.
The closure is necessary to facilitate BT pole replacement works. Alternative route available via King Street, Ernespie Road Roundabout, Queen Street and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
