The Council Tax (Prescribed Classes of Dwellings) (England) Regulations 2003 No. 3011, as amended.
Council Tax Discounts/Premiums
Chichester District Council, as billing authority, gives notice that the following determinations have been made in respect of the financial year 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2028.
Class A
Furnished dwellings (including second homes), not used as anyone’s sole or main residence and occupation prohibited by law for a continuous period of at least 28 days.
Discount Nil
Class B
Furnished dwellings (including second homes), not used as anyone’s sole or main residence and no occupation restrictions apply.
Discount Nil
Class C
Chargeable unoccupied and substantially unfurnished dwellings.
Discount Nil
Class D
Vacant dwellings which require or are undergoing major repair work to render them habitable or are undergoing structural alteration or have undergone major repair work to render them habitable, if less than six months have elapsed since the date on which the alteration was substantially completed, and the dwelling has continuously remained vacant since that date.

Long term empty properties which have been unoccupied and substantially unfurnished for at least 1 year but less than 5 years.
100% premium
