TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990 REVISIONS TO THE BOUNDARY OF NEWBURY TOWN CONSERVATION AREA KENNET AND AVON NEWBURY CANAL WEST CONSERVATION AREA KENNET AND AVON NEWBURY CANAL EAST CONSERVATION AREA NEWTOWN ROAD CONSERVATION AREA

West Berkshire Council hereby gives notice in accordance with Section 70 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Area) Act 1990 as amended, that on 28th November 2024, boundary changes to the Newbury Town Conservation Area, Kennet and Avon Newbury Canal West Conservation Area and Kennet and Avon Newbury Canal East Conservation Area were confirmed. A historic conservation area – Pound Street and Newtown Road Conservation Area – previously subsumed into the Newbury Town Conservation Area has been separated once again and is to be known as the Newtown Road Conservation Area.
