PUBLICATION OF DRAFT PLAN STRATEGY

PLANS AND PROGRAMMES REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2004; THE PLANNING
(LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN) REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2015

Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council hereby gives notice, in accordance with
Regulation 15 of The Planning (Local Development Plan) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015, that
it published its Local Development Plan 2035 Draft Plan Strategy on 29 September 2026 and that
the document together with supporting assessments and Technical Supplements are available for
inspection.
The Council is inviting representations on the Draft Plan Strategy during a period of public
consultation. The public consultation period will run for 8 weeks, commencing on the 13 October
2026 and closing at 5.00pm on 8 December 2026. Any representations made before or after this
period will not be accepted.
Availability of the Draft Plan Strategy and Supporting Documents
The Draft Plan Strategy and supporting documentation, including the Sustainability Appraisal Report
(incorporating the Strategic Environmental Assessment) and Non-Technical Summary, Draft Habitats
Regulations Assessment, Draft Equality Screening Report, Draft Rural Needs Impact Assessment
and 18 Technical Supplements are available to view and download on the Council’s website:

These documents are also available for public inspection between 9.00am and 5.00pm from Monday
to Friday at the following Council offices:

Public consultation
The Council is inviting representations to its Local Development Plan 2035 Draft Plan Strategy
and associated environmental and supporting assessments during the public consultation period,
commencing on 13 October 2026 and closing at 5.00pm on 8 December 2026.
