Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
The Secretary of State for Transport has directed that the Order made by Kent County Council on the 23 September 2025, the effect of which was to prohibit all traffic from Public Footpath AE115 has been extended for a further year, until the 23 September 2027 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
The path is closed between its junction with Public Footpath AE178 and Public Footpath AE117.
There is no alternative route.

Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily close Public Bridleway SR440 in the Parish of Chiddingstone

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Bridleway SR440 between Wellers Town Road and Watstock Farm from the 19 September 2026
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen 26 October 2026
The path is closed because works are planned on or near it.

Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily close Public Footpath TE26 in the Parishes of Monkton and Minster
In The District of Thanet

(Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2026
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath TE26 between Stour Bridge, Plucks Gutter, and where the footpath ends to the east of the railway bridge in Minster, NGR TR 3252 6247, from the 18 September 2026.
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The path is closed because there is a likelihood of danger to users as a
bridge is out of repair.
There is no alternative route.
