NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF BISHOPS OFFLEY MILLENNIUM GREEN TRUST
The Annual General Meeting of the Bishops Offley Millennium Green Trust will be held at The Star Inn, Copmere End, from 7.30 pm on Tuesday 6th October 2026. It is open to all inhabitants of the locality benefiting from the Trust, and the purpose of the meeting is to seek the views and opinions of Inhabitants on the use and enjoyment of the Millennium Green and the appointment of Trustees.
The business of the meeting will include amendments to the Deed by which the Trust was established, to improve the administration of the Trust:
By better defining the locality whose inhabitants benefit from the activities of the Trust;
By widening provision for the Trust to co-operate and assist other charities and voluntary and statutory bodies acting for similar charitable purposes, including the giving of financial assistance, subject to limit as to the amount, and to prior approval by 75% majority of Trustees; and By modernising provisions as to the keeping of minutes of trustees’ meetings, and as to the means of publicising Annual General Meetings in future.
