BLACKBRAES RENEWABLE ENERGY PARK – PRE-APPLICATION PUBLIC
CONSULTATION
Chint Solar invites local residents and interested parties to take part in the pre-application consultation on proposals for Blackbraes Renewable Energy Park, comprising a 60MW solar farm and 50MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) on approximately 98 hectares of land south of California, off Blackbraes Road, Falkirk.
The first public consultation event will be held on Tuesday 17 th September from 3:30pm to 7:30pm at Avonbridge Church Hall, Avonbridge Church of Scotland, Standburn Road, FK1 2NA, from 3:30pm – 7:30pm. The event will provide an
opportunity to view the emerging proposals, meet members of the project team, ask questions and provide feedback.
Comments on the proposals should be received no later than Sunday 27th September In addition, to this initial engagement period there will be a second consultation later this autumn where another event will take place. Feedback can be submitted online at

Please note that any comments made to Chint Solar as the applicant are not representations to the Scottish Ministers. Should an application be submitted, there will be a separate opportunity to make formal representations to the Scottish Ministers.
