ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the;
A592, Newby Bridge, from a point approx. 750 metres south of its junction with the U5251, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 490 metres.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the A592, A591 and the A590.
Duration: From 23rd September 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROW/20140)
B5271, Windermere Road, Lindale, from its junction with the C5046, extending in a southerly direction for approx. 305 metres.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of Windermere Road (B5271), Lindale Road (B5271), Grange Road and the C5046.
Duration: From 28th September 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROW/20244)
C5071, Natland, from its junction with the St Marks Fold, extending in a southerly direction for approx. 305 metres.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C5071, A65, U5631 and the U5629.
Duration: From 13th October 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROW/20332)

The Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
