NOTICE OF PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION

PUBLIC EVENT

Proposal: Retention and redevelopment of listed former hospital buildings for residential dwelling homes together with demolition of non-listed buildings and development of new residential dwelling homes, with associated landscaping, parking and infrastructure

Location: The former Edenhall Hospital, Edenhall Road, Musselburgh

Dundas Estates & Development Co Ltd will hold a public event between 3.00pm and 7pm on Thursday, 10 September 2026 in the Dundas Sales Centre, The Wireworks, Mall Avenue, Musselburgh, EH21 7BL. Representatives of Dundas will be in attendance to discuss the proposal, answer questions and listen to views.

Persons wishing to make comments on the proposal may do so at the above event and/or by writing/emailing Dundas following the event.

Please note that this Notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments submitted at this stage must be sent to Dundas Estates and Development Co Ltd and are not representations to East Lothian Council. Following this consultation exercise, should Dundas decide to submit a planning application, there will be an opportunity to make representations to the Council at that time.
