Yorkshire Water Services Limited has applied to the Environment Agency to formally vary an existing licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a formal variation to an existing licence to obstruct or impede the flow of surface water at National Grid Reference SE 15 02.
Water will be obstructed or impeded by impounding works for the purpose of maintaining a reservoir for public water supply.
The proposed variation is intended to update the licence to reflect revised compensation flow arrangements.
