CONFIRMATION OF BYELAWS
Notice is hereby given that the Peak District National Park Authority (“the Authority”) intends after the expiry of the period mentioned below to apply to the Secretary of State for confirmation of the Byelaws for Verges 2026 made by the Authority under S90 subsection (1) and (3) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 with respect to the prohibition of waiting of vehicles on certain areas of land owned by the Authority or Access Land within the Peak District National Park and identified in the Schedule to the Byelaws.
A copy of the Byelaws will be kept at the offices of the Authority at Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell, Derbyshire DE45 1AE, and will be open to inspection without payment on any week day during the usual office hours for one calendar month from and after the publication of this notice. Copies of the Byelaws can be emailed to you free of charge or if requested a paper copy will be supplied on receipt of an application accompanied by a fee of £3.00 per copy.
