(REED STREET, CLIFFE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2)

ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable engineers to access and work on an underground structure to provide a service to a customer -

Reed Street, Cliffe - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from its junction with Church Street for approximately 235 metres in an easterly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Thatchers Lane, Swingate Avenue and Church Street in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 30 September 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or after that date and are programmed for completion within 1 day. The restrictions will apply only while the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.

(GRANGE WAY, ROCHESTER)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply repairs to be carried out -

Grange Way, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 2 Grange Way. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Kings Avenue and Maidstone Road in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 28 September 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or after that date and are programmed for completion within 5 days. The restrictions will apply only while the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.

(CONSTITUTION ROAD, CHATHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable new electricity ducting and cabling to be installed -

Constitution Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 66 Constitution Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via York Hill and Luton Road in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or after that date and are programmed for completion within 5 days. The restrictions will apply only while the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable overhead cable works to be carried out -

Bells Lane, Hoo - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of No. 40. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via A228, Main Road Hoo and Main Road in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Sunday, 13 September 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or after that date and are programmed for completion within 1 day. The restrictions will apply only while the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new water connection to be carried out -

Pilgrims Way, Cuxton - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 11 Pilgrims Way. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via A228 Sundridge Hill in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 29 September 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 29 September 2026 and are programmed for completion within 3 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable flow meter monitoring to be carried out -

Melbourne Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the junction with Sturla Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Sturla Road, Hills Terrace and Otway Street in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 8 September 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 8 September 2026 and are programmed for completion within 1 day. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(BARLEYCORN DRIVE, GILLINGHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the excavation of a joint bay and trenches to customers properties to be carried out -

Barleycorn Drive, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 54 Barleycorn Drive. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route will be available. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 7 September 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 7 September 2026

and are programmed for completion within 9 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
