REGULATION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the;
(i) U5738 Foulstep, Skelwith Bridge, adjacent to a property known as Neaum Brow, extending in a north easterly direction for a distance of approx. 35m.
Alternative Route: via the U5524, A593 and the unrestricted section of the U5738.
Duration: From 8th September 2026 for approx. 2 days (Ref: TTROW/19931)
(ii) U669 Kendal, from its junction with Blackhall Road, extending in a north easterly direction for a distance of approx. 20m.
There is no suitable diversion route available for vehicles.
Duration: From 10th September 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROW/20018)

The Order will come into operation on 8th September 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
