(KIRKCUDBRIGHT GRAND PARADE)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to close various roads in Kirkcudbright as noted below. The closures are necessary to facilitate the Kirkcudbright Grand Parade. No alt route available; drivers should expect minor delays for the duration of the parade.

(B7000 DALRY – HIGH BRIDGE OF KEN)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close B7000 between High Bridge of Ken and the junction of B729, St Johns Town of Dalry from 0001 on 20/08/26 to 2359 on 24/08/26. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate BT ducting works. 

Alternative route available via B729, A713, A702, B7000 and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U513S ALPINE TERRACE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U513s Alpine Terrace, Dalbeattie, (full length). In addition, at this time, parking will be suspended in Alpine Terrace, Dalbeattie, (full length) from 0800 on 24/08/26 to 1700 on 28/08/26. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate BT ducting works. 

No alternative route available. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U10S MERSE DRIVE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U10s Merse Drive, Kirkcudbright from its junction with Merse Road to outside No.8 from 0800 to 1700 on 26/8/26. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate BT pole replacement works. 

Alternative route available via Merse Road, Merse Avenue, Merse Strand and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
