NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF LAND
LAND AT RIDDLES ROAD, BORDEN, SITTINGBOURNE ME10 1LE
Notice is hereby given under sections 123 (1) and (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Kent County Council intends to make a disposal of open space land at Riddles Road, Borden, Sittingbourne ME10 1LE. This land is referred to in this notice as “the Open Space Land”.
The Open Space Land has an area of approximately 2.973 acres (1.203 hectares) and is shown for identification purposes edged red on a plan which may be inspected at Sessions House, County Road Maidstone ME14 1XQ during normal business hours or at Sittingbourne Library during normal business hours.
The advert and plan will also be able to be viewed on the Kent County Council website at www.kent.gov.uk/letstalk. Interested parties will also be able to leave comments there.
The Open Space Land is open space land within the meaning of s123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 and s336(1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 being land used for the purpose of public recreation.
Any comments on the intended disposal must be made in writing via the website www.kent.gov.uk/letstalk, by email to openspacelanddisposalnoticefeedback@kent.gov.uk, or addressed to Investment and Disposals, Property Strategy, Deputy Chief Executive’s Department, Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XQ and received by no later than midday on date 24th September 2026.
