Swale Borough Council is proposing to adopt a Policy in relation to its licensing responsibilities regarding Pavement Licences under the Business and Planning Act 2020.
The provision of a policy aims to provide residents, applicants and other agencies with a benchmark of the licensing authority’s expectations and will assist them in understanding statutory requirements.
The Council has prepared a draft Policy and now wishes to carry out consultation on this document with relevant parties and the general public.
The draft Pavement Licence policy can be viewed at www.swale.gov.uk/consultations or a hard copy can be posted upon request.
The Council is keen to receive comments on the draft document, which will be considered before the finalised Policy is adopted.
