What is happening?

Disposal of Land Held As Public Open Space Land at Grass verges adjacent to Cauldham Close, Capel Le Ferne, Kent

Notice is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 of Dover District Council’s intention to dispose of land known as grass verges, adjacent to Cauldham Close, Capel Le Ferne held as Public Open Space forming a part of and known as verges at Cauldham Close.

The intention is to allow footpaths to be created.

A plan indicating the areas of the land referred to may be inspected at the Council Offices, White Cliffs Business Park, Whitfield, Dover CT16 3PJ during the Council’s normal office hours.

Any objections to the proposed disposal should be made in writing and addressed to Property Services at the address given below or send to propertyservices@dover.gov.uk and must be Received by the 9th September 2026.
