Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath NG1 between 1 Mark Lane, around the back of the yard to where the road ends at the King Charles III England Coastal Path, Grid References TQ 6644 7428 to TQ 6652 7430 from 20 August 2026
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen 15 October 2026
The path is closed because works are planned on or near it.
The alternative route is via Mark Lane and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Bridleway SR546 between its junction with Public Bridleway SR440 and Watstock Farm from the 21 August 2026
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The path is to be closed because works are planned on or near it.
The alternative route will be located just to the south of the legal alignment and signed for the duration of the closure.

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath TE39 between Brook Lane and Jutes Lane from the 17 August 2026
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The path is closed because archaeological works are planned on or near it, The proposed alternative route will run parallel to the existing footpath, to the south, and will be positioned outside the site working areas. And will be signed for the duration of the closure.
