Land at Birch Link/Dunstable Road Luton LU4 8JJ (“The Land”)
1. Notice is hereby given that Luton Borough Council (“the Council”) proposes, in accordance with Section 123 (2a) of the Local Government Act 1972, to dispose (by way of lease) of land at Birch Link/Dunstable Road Luton LU4 8JJ.
2. It is proposed that the Land is to be subject to a Code agreement under the Electronic Communications Code (originally enacted as Schedule 3A to the Communications Act 2003) and the Digital Economy Act 2017 (“the Code”).
The Land is an area of approximately 23 sq m and shall be used for the installation of a new telecommunications mast and equipment. The Land is shown for identification purposes edged red on a plan which can be inspected at the Reception of Luton Borough Council, Town Hall, George Street, Luton LU1 2BQ and may be inspected free of charge Monday to Friday, during normal office hours.

The plan also shows the Council’s adjacent retained land edged blue; rights in accordance with the Code including rights of tree lopping, access and cabling necessary to facilitate the use of the Land will be granted over this area.
3. Any representations or objections with respect to the proposal must be made in writing to David Oddy, Estates Surveyor, c/o Luton Borough Council, Town Hall, George Street, Luton LU1 2BQ or by way of email to
