What is happening?

PROVISION OF TOUCAN CROSSING ON a60 carlton road and The baulk, worksop

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to install a signalised toucan crossing on A60 Carlton Road, Worksop in the Bassetlaw District.
1. The proposals will incorporate a controlled area, indicated by zig- zag markings along the carriageway where parking, stopping and loading will be prohibited. The extents of the controlled areas are: -
A60 Carlton Road, Worksop (both sides)

From a point 30 metres north-west of the centre line of its junction with The Baulk in a south-easterly direction for 44 metres.
