Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, and Part IV and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order:
1. To implement ‘Limited Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-4pm 1 hour No return within 2 hours’ Restrictions.
Road - Description
Remembrance Avenue - South Side:
(i) From a point approximately 29 metres east of the extended eastern kerb line of New Hall Way, east for approximately 18 metres.
Laybys, Chelmsford Garden Community - (ii) From a point approximately 2 metres west of the extended western kerb line of Banham Drive, west for approximately 18 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into ‘The Essex County Council (Chelmsford City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019’ by substituting Map Tiles: TL730 105 Revision 0 to Revision 3 and TL735 107 Revision 0 to Revision 2.
2. To Revoke: ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ and Implement: ‘No Stopping at Any Time Except Buses’ Restrictions.
Road - Description
Remembrance Avenue, Chelmsford Garden Community
South Side: From a point approximately 139 metres west of its junction with Generals Lane Roundabout, west for approximately 23 metres.
North Side: From a point approximately 99 metres west of its junction with Generals Lane Roundabout, west for approximately 23 metres.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Essex County Council has received a planning application from Aggreg8 Solutions Limited for the proposed extraction of sand and gravel and associated works including processing plant, access, haul road and ancillary infrastructure; together with the importation of inert materials to facilitate site restoration at Land to the south of Chalk End and the A1060 (Salt’s Green) and at Shellow Cross Farm, Roxwell, Chelmsford, Essex – Planning Application Ref: ESS/49/26/CHL
The proposed development may not accord with the provisions of the Essex Minerals Local Plan (2014); Essex & Southend-on-Sea Waste Local Plan (2017); Chelmsford Local Plan (2020) and/or Epping Forest District Local Plan (2023) in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated.
The proposal may affect the setting of the Moated site immediately west of Skreens Lodge a Scheduled Monument; and/or Skreens Lodge, Shellow Cross Farmhouse, Barn 100m East/North East of Shellow Cross Farmhouse, Shellow Cross Farm Cottages, Rowes Farmhouse 1 and 2, Mountneys House and Chalk End House which are Grade II Listed Buildings. Footpaths 2, 3, 13, 14 and 17 (Roxwell) and 21 (Willingale) and Bridleway 68 (Roxwell) may also be affected by the proposal.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Partridge Green & Woodhouse Lane, Broomfield in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 120m north west then south west of the junction with Woodlands Way for a distance of approximately 230m in a south westerly then north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th August 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WGJD3L1P & BC311002WGJD3L1P – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Installation of cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
No diversion route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Galleywood Road, Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Galleywood Road, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 160m north east of its junction with Russell Gardens for a distance of approximately 80m in a north easterly then north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 – (22:00-05:30) for 1 night, or where stated on a valid permit (EP40018984729 – Horizon Construction Group).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken by Horizon Construction Group.
An alternative route is available via B1007, A1114, B1009, B1007 and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(High Easter Road, High Easter)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Easter Road, High Easter in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 690m north east, north west then north east of its junction with Herons Lane for a distance of approximately 60m in a north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06164778JB – Affinity Water Limited).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water Limited.
An alternative route is available via High Easter Road, The Street, Rehobeth Street, Stagden Cross Road, Mashbury Road, Barrack Road, Bedfords Hill, Bedfords Farm Road, Mill Road, School Road, High Easter Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
