NOTICE OF REVIEW OF THE CORE PATHS PLAN

Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Falkirk Council is conducting a formal review of its Core Paths Plan under Section 20 of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003. The plan establishes a network of core paths sufficient to give the public reasonable access throughout the area.
The review proposes the addition of new paths and diversion, realignment of existing routes and the removal of paths no longer meeting core path criteria.
Viewing the Documents
The Draft Core Paths Plan and associated maps are available for public inspection during normal opening hours from Monday 20th July 2026 to Monday 12th October 2026

Making Representations or Objections
Any person may make representations or lodge objections to the draft Core Paths Plan. Representations must be made in writing and include the specific path reference or proposed route.
