CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

Could You Help Shape Access to

Cambridgeshire’s Countryside?

The Cambridgeshire ‘Local Access Forum’ is seeking enthusiastic new members to help protect and improve access to the countryside. The Forum is an independent advisory group of volunteers. It helps inform how Cambridgeshire County Council approaches enhancements to public access. At the heart of this is how we preserve and expand our network of public rights of way. This includes supporting a range of activities including walking, cycling, and horse riding. Access to open spaces and the natural environment is also a focus of the Forum.

We are looking for people with an interest in the countryside who can bring a range of experiences and perspectives. We welcome applications from regular users of the county’s rights of way, as well as landowners, farmers, people working in conservation or tourism, and those who are less physically able to access the countryside. If you’re passionate about helping to shape and improve enjoyment of the outdoors for everyone, we’d like to hear from you. Membership offers a rewarding opportunity to share your knowledge, and to influence local policies and decisions. Join us to play a part in helping people enjoy Cambridgeshire’s countryside and public rights of way into the future.
