Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991

Kent County Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath EE367 between the footpath just north of The Drove and Circular Road from the 10 August 2026

The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen 04 September 2026.

The path is to be closed because works are planned on or near it.

The alternative route is via a footpath to the East of Colliers Way and along Betteshanger Road and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily close Public Footpaths HB56, HB57 and HB58 in the Town of Hythe

(Prohibition of Pedestrians) Temporary Order 2026

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 sections 16A – C as inserted by the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994 section 1.

Kent County Council intends to temporarily close lengths of Public Footpaths HB56 and HB57 from Twiss Road to Prospect Road and HB58 from Twiss Road to Stade Street from 14:00 hours until 23:00 hours on Wednesday 19 August 2026.

The paths will be closed to facilitate the holding of the Hythe Venetian Fete.

Alternative routes are available via Twiss Road, Public Footpath HB64 (Wakefield Walk), Napier Gardens and Stade Street, all will be signed for the duration.

Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily close Public Footpath SU12 in the Town of Sevenoaks

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath SU12 for its whole length between its junction with Robyn’s Way and its junction with London Road from the 22 July 2026

The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen on 01 August 2026

The path is closed because works are being carried out to improve the surface and increase the width.

The alternative routes are long and via the pavements and railway bridges at Shoreham Lane and Hitchen Hatch Lane.

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath ZU27 between the rear of No. 11 to No. 24 Roonagh Court from the 24 August 2026

The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen 18 September 2026

The path is to be closed because works are planned on or near it.

The alternative route is via Gore Court Road, Whitehall Road and Capel Road and will be signed for the duration of the closure.
