What is happening?
Disposal of Land Held As Public Open Space Land at Walmer Beach
Notice is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 of Dover District Council’s intention to dispose by way of a lease of land known as Land to the East of Marine Road held as Public Open Space forming a part of and known as Walmer Beach.
The intention is for the siting of a compound to enable works relating to the construction of a timber boardwalk on Walmer Beach.
A plan indicating the area of the land referred to may be inspected at the Council Offices, White Cliffs Business Park, Whitfield, Dover CT16 3PJ during the Council’s normal office hours.
Any objections to the proposed disposal should be made in writing and addressed to Property Services at the address given below or send to propertyservices@dover.gov.uk and must be Received by the 13th August 2026.
