Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has been notified, by the owner, of their intention to dispose of part of the land at The Gun and Spitroast, which is listed as an Asset of Community Value in the borough.
A six-week moratorium period will close on Tuesday 18 August 2026 during which time a community interest group can request in writing to be treated as a potential bidder for the property. If such a request is received by the Council, the moratorium period will be extended to a full 6 months, giving time for the bid to be put together.
