SIKH TEMPLE TRUST, NOTTINGHAM, NG7 7AE (Charity No. 512435)

he Election Board hereby announces that the election process for the Management Committee of Sikh Temple Trust, Nottingham, for the term 2026-2029 will commence on 1 July and closes on 1st August 2026. The election will be on 13th September 2026. The Election Board invites eligible members of the Sangat to participate in the election process in accordance with the Trust’s Constitution, Rules, and Election Procedures.

Key dates and details regarding membership registration, publication of voter lists, nomination procedures, candidate eligibility, scrutiny, withdrawals, polling arrangements, and election timetable will be published separately on the Gurdwara notice boards, official communication channels, and social media platforms.

All prospective candidates for the committee should note that a satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance will be required before taking office. Members are encouraged to ensure that their membership details are up to date and to participate actively in this important democratic process. Please note that The Election process is being facilitated and invigilated by the Supreme Sikh Council UK, which is an independent organisation.
