BROOMBANK DENBY DALE) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2019
On 24 June 2026 Kirklees Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert that part of Public Footpath Denby Dale 67 having a width of 1.2 metres and commencing from a point at grid reference 2272 0811 and proceeding in a southerly direction for 41 metres to a point at grid reference 2271 0807 to a new line, having a width of 1.5 metres, and commencing at a point at grid reference 2272 0811 proceeding in a south south-easterly direction for 18 metres to a point at grid reference 2273 0809 then in a south south-easterly direction for 33 metres to a point at grid reference 2271 0807.

The order came into force as from 24 June 2026, but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 of the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 03 July 2026, make an application to the High court.
