NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF
Land forming part of Brodsworth Way Playing Fields, Rossington,
Doncaster registered under title number SYK355789
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local
Government Act 1972 that City of Doncaster Council (“the Council”) intends to
dispose of an interest in public open space land forming part of Brodsworth Way
Playing Fields, Rossington, Doncaster.
The proposed disposal is by way of the grant of a lease for a term of 5 years of
land measuring approximately 201 square metres, shown edged red on a plan
available for inspection.
The land is to be used for the siting of a storage container and security fencing for
the storage of football equipment. A plan identifying the land is on deposit at the
Business Reception desk at Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BU and may
be examined there during normal office hours.
By virtue of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council is
required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of public open space and
consider any objections to the proposed disposal.
Any objections should be made in writing to Scott Fawcus, Service Director,
Legal and Democratic Services, City of Doncaster Council, Civic Office,
Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BU no later than 12 noon on 20th July 2026. (PO615)
