ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS – Public Footpath No. 49 Parish of Bollington
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 49 Bollington which commences at the junction with Higher Lane at OS grid reference SJ 9376 7656 and runs in a generally east direction for approximately 98 metres to the junction with Windmill Lane at OS grid reference SJ 9381 7657.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger posed by step in a dangerous condition.
The Order continues the restriction that came into force on 15th June 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months, or until the works required on or adjacent to the footpath are completed

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 47 Adlington which commences at51 at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 9279 7933 and runs in a generally east direction for approx. 265m. to OSGR SJ 9305 7933.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger posed by a damaged tree overhanging the Footpath.
The Order continues the restriction that came into force on 10th June 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months, or until the works required on or adjacent to the footpath are completed
