Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section 15 (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 21st January 2027. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No.6 in the Parish of Crewe which commences at its junction with Groby Road at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 7128 5740 and runs in a generally north easterly direction for approx. 1326m to its junction with Footpath No.12 in the Parish of Moston at OSGR SJ 7195 5812.
That length of Public Footpath No.12 (part) in the Parish of Moston which commences at its junction with Public Footpath No.6 in the Parish of Crewe at OSGR SJ 7195 5812 and runs in a generally north easterly direction for approx. 1029m to its junction with Clay Lane at OS grid reference SJ 7247 5897.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger due to a damaged bridge.
