NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Buxton Avenue, Crewe
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Buxton Avenue, Crewe – For the full extent
The alternative route will be via Bulkeley Street, Hungerford Avenue, Hungerford Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 22nd June 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 13th July 2026.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH CREATION AGREEMENT FOR THE CREATION OF A PUBLIC FOOTPATH OVER LAND IN THE PARISH OF WARDLE, BOROUGH OF CHESHIRE EAST
Notice is hereby given that a Public Path Creation Agreement has been entered into between Cheshire East Borough Council and the landowner in respect of a public footpath in the Parish of Wardle, the effect of which is to create Public Footpath No. 17 in the Parish of Wardle as described below:
Commencing at its junction with Public Footpath No. 17 in the Parish of Haughton at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 5866 5772 and running in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approx. 244m. to OSGR SJ 5890 5769 and then continuing in a generally easterly direction for approximately 238m. to OSGR SJ 5912 5777 at its junction with Public Footpath No. 13 in the Parish of Wardle.
Under Section 25 there is no right of objection, and the Agreement has taken immediate effect.
