NOTICE is given that on 18/06/26, “The Aberdeenshire Council (Balmoor Terrace, Peterhead) (Reduction of waiting restrictions) Order, 2026” has been made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the order, which will come into operation on 24/06/26, will be to reduce existing waiting restrictions on Balmoor Terrace, Peterhead as follows:
PROHIBITION REDUCTION OF WAITING RESTRICTION
A982 BALMOOR TERRACE
Existing eastbound ‘At Any Time’ restrictions to be reduced by a distance of 53 metres. The reduction will remove ‘At Any Time’ waiting restrictions from a point 106 metres east of the extended eastern kerbline of U190b Balmoor Terrace to a point 160 metres east of the extended eastern kerbline of U190b Balmoor Terrace. Existing westbound ‘At Any Time’ restrictions to be reduced by a distance of 43 metres. The reduction will remove ‘At Any Time’ waiting restrictions from a point 106 metres east of the extended eastern kerbline of U190b Balmoor Terrace to a point 150 metres east of the extended eastern kerbline of U190b Balmoor Terrace. The original proposals were advertised in the Buchan Observer on 19/05/26.
A copy of the order is available for inspection during normal office hours for a period of 6 weeks from 23.06.26 at the undernoted address.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements arising from the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of 23.06.26 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
