(U883N PARK LANE)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER)

ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U883n Park Lane, Dumfries from 0001 on 29/06/26 to 2359 on 12/07/26. The closure is necessary to facilitate lay and abandon gas mains works. No alternative route available. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(CLOSEBURN GALA PARADE) 
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close various roads in Closeburn on Saturday 27/6/26 from 12:30 to 13:30. Parade route: Firmuir Ave, Shawsholm Rd, A76(T), C135n. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate activities associated with Closeburn Gala Parade. No alternative route is available. 

Minor delays should be expected for the duration of parade. Pedestrian access will be maintained. 

(A781 WHITESANDS) 
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026 

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the A781 at Sliproad in front of The Bank, Whitesands, Dumfries from 1000 – 1500 on 25/06/26. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate safe access to Scottish Water manholes. Alternative route available via Whitesands. 

Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(C126N MORTON HOLM)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) NO.2 ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close C126n at septic tank, Mortonholm Road, Keir Mill, Thornhill from 0800 to 1600 on 01/07/26. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate emptying of public septic tank. 

Alternative route available via C126n, A702, C125n C126n and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL (YOUTH BEATZ EVENT 2026)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2026

The council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close roads and suspend parking on various streets in relation to the above event on 27/06/26 and 28/06/26. 

The closure and restrictions are required to facilitate safe exit from the event and will implemented as required during the times below at the request of Police Scotland. 

New Abbey Rd and Pleasance Ave will be closed adjacent to Dumfries Rugby Club between 20:15 and 22:30 on 27/06/26 and between 19:15 and 21:30 on 28/06/25. 

Parking Suspensions will also be in place on lengths of New Abbey Rd, Pleasance Ave, Rotchell Rd and Park Rd from 00:01 on 27/06/26 until 23:59 on 28/06/26.

(U450N GILLENBURN ROAD) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION
ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U450n Gillenburn Road, Kelloholm, at Scottish Power substation from 0800 to 1700 on 02/07/26. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate safe removal and replacement of a new power substation by crane. 

Alternative route available via Glenwharrie Road, Birkburn Road, Kirkland Drive, Gillenburn Road and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U486N BLACKWOOD – CROALCHAPEL) 
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U486n at Auchenrennie Cottage, Auldgirth from 0800 to 1800 on 02/07/26. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate BT pole replacement works. 

Alternative route available via U486n, A76TR, U489n, U486n and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U856N MUNCHES STREET) 
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U856n Munches Street, Dumfries, full extent, including public carpark, from 8am on 28/06/26 to 6pm on 29/06/26. 

During this time the permanent one-way system in place on Queensberry Street will be temporarily reversed, to enable access to Great King Street. 

This operation will only be in force when appropriate signage is in place. 

The closure is necessary to carry out Scottish Water burst repair works. 

No alternative route available for Munches Street. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
