Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Coldharbour Lane which extends from A4174 to the Bristol Business Park roundabout.

This order is required for the following reason: in connection with carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing works. The order will be operative from 13 July 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 weeks duration, between 8pm and 6am.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Hyde’s Lane which extends from a point 175m north east of Slough Lane north eastwards for 175m.

This order is required for the following reason: in connection with electrical cabling works.

The order will be operative from 13 July 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 weeks duration.

This order is required for the following reason: in connection with new ducting installation works to connect chamber to poles. The order will be operative from 13 July 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 weeks duration.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to foot passengers that length of Public Footpath LIA/35/10 which extends from LWE/PER/1 north westwards for 30m.

This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon flood resilience works. The order will be operative from 13 July 2026 for a maximum period of six months.

The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 months duration.

This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon groundworks and resurfacing works on or adjacent to the highway.

The order will be operative from 13 July 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 month duration.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of Highfields which extends from a point 170m north west of Birgage Road westwards for 20m. This order is required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon telecom chamber building works on or adjacent to the highway. The order will be operative from 14 July 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 days duration, between 8am and 6pm.

This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon cabling works on or adjacent to the highway.

The order became operative from 22 June 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 3 nights duration, between 9pm and 6am.

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles, foot passengers, pedal cycles and equestrians that length of A4174 Avon Ring Road eastbound carriageway which extends from Wick Wick Roundabout south eastwards for 150m.

This order was required for the following reason: in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon overhead telecoms works on or adjacent to the highway. The order became operative from 23 June 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of a 1 night duration, between 10pm and 6am.

(Station Road, Kingswood) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that South Gloucestershire District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an order the effect of which has closed, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Station Road slip road which extends from Jubilee Road south eastwards for 25m.

This order was required for the following reason: in connection with gas main replacement works. The order became operative from 23 June 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

The closure however may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 10 days duration.
