Interested parties are invited by ESB (Scotland) Ltd to the consultation events being held at the St Bride’s Centre, Braehead, Douglas ML11 0PT on Thursday 25th June and Thursday 16th July 2026 between 12 noon and 3pm to discuss the proposed construction of a Battery Energy Storage System with an overall capacity of 500MW on land at High Netherfauld House Farm, Tower Road, Douglas, Lanark, ML11 ORL.

Individuals are welcome to comment on the proposals in person at either of the public consultation events or by email.
Comments made to the applicant in relation to this proposed development are not representations to the Scottish Ministers but will be considered by ESB (Scotland) Ltd prior to the full Planning submission for the scheme. On submission of the application for the development the public will have a further opportunity to make representations on the application directly to the Scottish Ministers.
