INSPECTION OF UNAUDITED ACCOUNTS FOR FALKIRK COUNCIL AND PENSION FUND 2025/26
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with the provisions of Section 101 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 and Section 9 of the Local Authority Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2014 as follows:-
1. INSPECTION OF ACCOUNTS
Copies of the unaudited accounts of Falkirk Council and Pension Fund for the period from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026 will be available for public inspection from Monday 29th June 2026 to Friday 17th July 2026 on the Council’s website
A copy of the Pension Fund Accounts will also be available on the Fund website
2. RIGHT TO INSPECT ACCOUNTS
Any interested person may inspect the Accounts to be audited and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto. Interested parties are requested to submit e-mail requests for access to these documents to the Chief Finance Officer,

no later than Monday 20th July 2026. We will endeavour to provide electronic copies of the requested documents before the approval of the audited accounts for signature, at a date to be determined.
No charge will be made for the inspection of documents or for the provision of electronic copies.
3. RIGHT TO OBJECT TO ACCOUNTS
Any interested person may object to the Accounts or to any part of the accounts no later than 20th July 2026 by:-
(a) sending the objection, in writing, together with a statement of the grounds thereof to:

(b) sending a copy of that objection and statement to the Chief Finance Officer, The Foundry, 4 Central Boulevard, Central Park, Larbert, FK5 4RU, e-mail

4. OBJECTION PROCEDURE
The Auditor shall, if requested by the person objecting, or authority or by any officer of the authority who may be concerned, afford to that person, or authority or officer, as the case may be, an opportunity of appearing before and being heard by the Auditor with respect to that objection, and any such person or officer may so appear and be heard either personally or by a representative.
