What is happening?

Temporary Traffic Management Order, B3092, East Stour & Stour Provost

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 1st July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15th July 2026.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface dressing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

[i] To impose a temporary speed restriction of 10mph to facilitate the use of a convoy working vehicle along B3092, East Stour & Stour Provost as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along B3092, East Stour & Stour Provost.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to revoke existing lengths of single yellow lines (no waiting Mon-Sat 9:30am — 6pm) restrictions along Westbury and introduce lengths of double yellow line (no waiting at any time) restrictions along lengths of Ottery Lane and Westbury. These proposals form part of a highway improvement scheme that involves redesigning the junction priority and crossing points at Ottery Lane and Westbury.

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along A30, Sherborne from junction with Sheeplands Lane to junction with Old Compton Lane (in Westbound direction only), a distance of approximately 3900 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 09:30 and 15:30 on 30th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10th July 2026. The road will be reopened to traffic overnight and at weekends.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 29th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13th July 2026.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

The effect of the order is as follows:

[1] To impose temporary road closure on Various Roads, Woolland, Fifehead Neville & Ibberton as listed: [i] Chitcombe Farm Lane, Woolland in its entirety; [ii] C98, Woolland & Fifehead Neville from junction with C100 and Kitford Lane; [iii] Leigh, Ibberton from junction with Marsh Lane, Ibberton to a point 310 metres to the north; [iv] Allotment Hill, Leigh, Ibberton from junction with Marsh Lane to junction with Ryalls Cross. Please note the closures will be in operation, as and when indicated by signs on site. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Blackrow Lane, Lydlinch from junction with Berry Farm Lane to junction with A3030 (in both directions) a distance of approximately 1110 metres.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 2nd July 2026 and remain in force for 18 months however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16th July 2026. The road(s) will be open outside of these times and also over the weekend.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface dressing works.

[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along BRADFORD LANE, LONGBURTON, in its entirety.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Please note the closures will be in operation, as and when indicated by signs on site.
