NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE LAND
Land known as the Recreation Ground and Playground to the south of Sandygate Lane, Lower Beeding, West Sussex.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (‘the Act’) that Horsham District Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 123(1) of the Act intends to transfer the freehold title of the area of land described above and below, which is open space land to the Lower Beeding Parish Council.
The extent of the land forming the Recreation Ground and Playground is shown edged red on a plan of the land which is available for inspection at the Council’s offices at Albery House, Springfield Road, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 2GB or which can be requested by email to
quoting reference 11919.
Representations or objections to the intended disposal should be made in writing and addressed to Legal Services, Horsham District Council, Albery House, Springfield Road, Horsham RH12 2GB or sent by email to
by 4pm on 19th June 2026.
