Highway Notice 

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Locations Within Crewe 

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. 

Prohibition of traffic – Weston Road, Crewe – From Savoy Road Weston Road Roundabout to the junction with Weston Road Service Road 

Middlewich Road, Woolstanwood – From Coppenhall Lane roundabout to the junction of Brian Palin Way 

Brian Palin Way, Leighton – For the full extent.
For specific dates and diversion routes, please visit One.Network. 

This order will come into operation on Wednesday 17th June 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Thursday 1st October 2026.
