Notification of intention to dispose of an Asset of Community Value

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has been notified by the owner, of their intention to dispose of Cranbrook Union Windmill, which is listed as an Asset of Community Value in the borough.

The interim moratorium period will close on Thursday 25 June 2026 during which time a community group can request in writing to be treated as a potential bidder for the property. If such a request is received by the Borough Council by this date, the moratorium period will be extended to a full 6 months, giving time for a bid to be put together.
