PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF LAND AT JARVIS BROOK RECREATION GROUND, CROWBOROUGH LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 

Notice under Section 123(2A) of the intended Disposal of an Open Space at Jarvis Brook Recreation Land, Crowborough.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wealden District Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, intends to dispose of an interest in a parcel of land described below.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PARCEL OF LAND

The proposed disposal relates to the inclusion of the land within a revised lease to Artytime and a surrender from the current CTC lease. This will enable the extension of the existing premises and an increase in Artytime’s building footprint. The land is located at Jarvis Brook Recreation Land, Crowborough, shown edged red on the plan found here: https://letstalk. wealden.gov.uk/proposed-land-disposal-jarvis- brook-recreation-ground

A plan of the land is also available for inspection at Wealden District Council.

Any objections to the proposed disposal must be made in writing to Julie Martin, Asset Manager, Wealden District Council, Council Offices, Vicarage Lane, Hailsham, BN27 2AX or by email to Julie.Martin@Wealden.gov.uk, within 28 days of the date of this notice.

All objections duly made will be considered by the Council before the disposal is proceeded with.
