What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
ENERGY ACT 2004 (SECTION 105)

Notice is hereby given that HydroWing LTD intends to submit a decommissioning programme to the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero in accordance with Section 105 of the Energy Act 2004.

The proposed programme relates to the decommissioning of the HydroWing tidal energy installation located at the Morlais West Anglesey Demonstration Zone, near Holy Island, Anglesey.

HydroWing is undertaking a period of public consultation on the proposed decommissioning programme. A copy of the draft programme may be inspected free of charge at the below address during normal business hours for a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this notice:

Hydrowing M-SParc, Gaerwen, Anglesey, LL60 6AG.

Copies of the draft programme may also be obtained by contacting admin@inyanga.tech.

Any representations regarding the proposed decommissioning programme should be made in writing within 30 days of the date of this notice and sent to admin@inyanga.tech.

All representations received during the consultation period will be taken into consideration prior to submission of the decommissioning programme to the Secretary of State.
