NOTICE OF POTENTIAL CREDITOR CLAIMS
SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED - IN ADMINISTRATION

Sheffield Wednesday Football Club Limited (the “Club”) entered administration on 24 October 2025, with Kris Wigfield, Julian Pitts and Paul Stanley of BTG Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP appointed as Joint Administrators.

On 1 May 2026, Wednesday 1867 Limited (the “Purchaser”) acquired the business and certain assets of the Club. As part of this transaction, the Purchaser and the Joint Administrators agreed that the Purchaser would settle certain claims of the Club’s unsecured creditors at 25 pence in the pound as a full and final settlement, in accordance with the English Football League Board Insolvency Policy.

If creditors have not yet submitted a claim to the Joint Administrators, they are requested to make contact to discuss their claim by 17:00 on 27 May 2026. Correspondence should be directed to:
