Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Lancashire County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Pear Tree School, 29 Station Road, Kirkham, Preston, Lancashire PR4 2HA.
Pear Tree School is a community special school in Kirkham, serving children from 2 to 19 years. The council is proposing to increase the number of places the school can offer to pupils, from 110 to 140 from September 2027. It is planned to expand the accommodation on the school site and improve the facilities available to allow for additional pupil numbers at the school.
