1. NOTICE is hereby given for the purposes of Section 123 (2a) of the Local Government Act 1972 that The Borough Council of Worthing proposes to dispose of land forming part of Rotary Recreation Ground, Upper Brighton Road, Worthing.
2. The intended disposal will be by way of the grant of a lease of the pavilions, storage area and cricket nets for occupation and use by the resident cricket club.
3. A plan showing the areas of the recreation ground affected may be inspected at the Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HA between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday (public holidays excepted).
4. Persons wishing to make representations relating to the said intended disposal should do so in writing to the Property & Investment Manager, Adur and Worthing Councils, Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HA – ref. Rotary Recreation Ground - or by email to
propertyteam@adur-worthing.gov.uk,
to be received no later than 5.00pm on Friday 5 June 2026.
